Christchurch physiotherapist Debbie Hockley is set to become New Zealand Cricket's [NZC] first female president.
New Zealand women's cricket great Hockley will add another milestone to her illustrious CV when ratified as president at NZC's annual general meeting in November.
Christchurch-based Hockley has been nominated by the Canterbury Cricket Association and NZC's board.
She will replace former New Zealand left-arm spinner Stephen Boock, who is in the last of his three-year term.
